Built Environment

PLMR’s Built Environment team delivers timely, impactful, and effective communications to clients daily, including on the most challenging and sensitive of briefs. The team’s work spans public affairs, PR, media relations, stakeholder engagement, community consultation, digital communications, crisis communications, and reputation management across the sector.

Best known for our intelligent, analytical, and bespoke approach to every campaign we work on, we deliver the communications’ strategies needed to engage with local communities and decision-makers to successfully secure your aims, whether that is planning consent, a local plan allocation, or improved relationships with stakeholders.

We offer a full suite of communication services to clients ranging from smaller landowners to the biggest housebuilders in the UK, including digital engagement through website creation, our bespoke online consultation tool Mapdragon, virtual exhibition rooms, interactive PDFs, and social media projects, as well as public relations strategies and public affairs campaigns across our regional networks.

Galliford Try Investments brought forward plans for a major regeneration scheme at the former Corah Factory site in Leicester city centre. PLMR was appointed to build support among key stakeholders and the local community to help secure planning approval from Leicester CC.
North Herts Council appointed PLMR to support consultation on the Churchgate Regeneration Zone in Hitchin. The goal was to gather views from stakeholders and the community on the site’s future redevelopment.
