Account Manager - PLMR Genesis

Matt is an Account Manager who joined Genesis in 2018. He is also a NCTJ senior qualified journalist and spent over five years as a Senior and Education Reporter with newsdesk responsibilities at large regional daily newspaper, the East Anglian Daily Times (Archant).

Matt supports and leads B2B accounts across the region in sectors including the built environment, transport and infrastructure, and technology and science. His services include: public relations, social media management, crisis communications, project management, video filming and editing, and reporting.

Matt also supports the wider Genesis team, helping to identify both proactive and reactive media comment opportunities, liaising with key journalists on other client activity, and advising on angles and copywriting for day-to-day press releases, blogs and thought leadership pieces.

Matt is increasingly engaging Genesis’ digital team to better support and advise his clients who are new to digital marketing channels. This includes successfully pitching SEO and online advertising projects that help provide results-driven solutions in addition to traditional PR.

Other services include: video product, graphic design for social media, and events management support. Previous sectors also include education, health and social care, and charities.
