PLMR is honoured to have been named as a finalist in the “Best Marketing Team” category at the 2024 Leaders in Care Awards, presented by leading sector publications Care Home Professional and Home Care Insight, and in the “Supplier of the Year – Services” category at the 2024 National Care Awards.
This stamp of approval – following being shortlisted at the Care Home Awards and HealthInvestor Awards earlier this year – is another indication of the strength and depth of PLMR’s service offer, the results achieved for clients, and its reputation as a distinguished strategic communications consultancy in the sector.
It has been another standout year for PLMR’s Health & Social Care Practice, which continued to work with clients HC-One, Skills for Care, and Signature Senior Lifestyle, whilst winning projects from new clients, including Helping Hands and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, amongst many others.
The team has also worked with the Social Care Institute of Excellence to co-host and co-sponsor a joint event at the Labour Party conference; continued to provide the secretariat function for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Adult Social Care, ensuring the sector has a strong voice within Parliament; and Head of Health and Social Care, Nathan Hollow, joined the Trustee Board of the Care Workers’ Charity.
Some standout projects include:
- Establishing Exemplar Health Care as a leading complex care provider and thought leader
- Driving consumer awareness of Carehome.co.uk as a trusted care sector review and comparison website through national media PR
- Supporting Essex County Council to recruit social care workers through a digital marketing and social media campaign
Nathan Hollow, Group Director and Head of Health & Social Care said:
“We are incredibly proud to be shortlisted at this year’s Leaders in Care and National Care Awards, where we’ll once again face stiff competition from some truly excellent peers. These nominations reflect the hard work, passion, and expertise of our dedicated Health & Social Care team; the trust our clients place in us to deliver to the highest standard; and the pro-bono support we provide to the sector to help increase its prominence amongst the Government and the public.
“After 18-years of specialising in this vital sector, our commitment to driving positive change and delivering real results for our clients has never been stronger, nor has our creativity and drive to innovate to achieve exceptional results.
“Irrespective of the result on the night, we are hugely grateful for the judges’ recognition of our commitment and passion, and we look forward to celebrating with our industry peers and continuing our mission to support the health and care sector in 2024 and beyond.”
PLMR will be attending the Leaders in Care Awards ceremony in Birmingham on October 8th, and the National Care Awards in London on November 29th.
