They approached PLMR to provide a day-to-day press office which had a focus on raising Carehome.co.uk’s profile and driving traffic to the website with a view to growing the site considerably and positioning it as a key voice in the industry.​

A number of notable surveys carried out by Carehome.co.uk and worked on by PLMR gained significant coverage across the UK, including:​

  • Care staff wearing pyjamas at night (rather than uniforms), which featured across the Daily Telegraph, Daily Mirror, and a raft of regional newspapers. ​
  • Blossoming romances in care homes, with press activity coinciding the Valentine’s Day being covered by the Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, and 162 regional newspapers.​
  • The number of care homes with their own pub, which featured in the Daily Mail, The Sun, Daily Telegraph, Sky News, and across over 60 regionals newspapers. ​

The Result
