PLMR joins the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant

PLMR is delighted to announce we have joined the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant in recognition of the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to the business world.

We are committed to actively communicating our support for the military community, and upholding a positive stance to colleagues via our HR policies and procedures. We also support reservist employees by offering them the flexibility needed to fulfil their annual training and mobilisation commitments.

PLMR is one of the UK’s leading corporate communications consultancies, and we look forward to participating in our first Armed Forces Day next month (25th June).

The Corporate Covenant was launched in 2013 to encourage businesses and charitable organisations, who wish to demonstrate their support for the Armed Forces Community, to write and publicise a voluntary pledge; this includes regular and reserve forces and their families. To date more than 900 companies and organisations of all sizes have signed the Covenant.

PLMR Managing Director, Kevin Craig, said today:

“In PLMR’s tenth anniversary year, I am extremely proud to have signed the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant and demonstrate our support for the military community.  Having worked with military charities for more than six years, and devised industry-leading campaigns to support these causes, I have met many veterans and reservists who have bravely served our country. Supporting them through the Corporate Covenant is the least we can do to say ‘thank you’.

“I thoroughly believe ex-Service personnel can thrive in the business world, and I look forward to working with the military community and utilising their unique skills for the benefit of PLMR clients.”
