Lucy Taylor

Senior Account Director

As Senior Account Director in the Health and Social Care Team, Lucy advises a diverse range of clients across the sector on crisis communications, reputation management, and media relations.

Before joining PLMR in November 2021, Lucy worked at the London Borough of Camden as Strategic Communications Manager for the borough’s Adult Social Care services – supporting the service as it navigated the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lucy is passionate about improving people’s experiences of care, and has previously worked in a range of social care-facing organisations including charities such as Alzheimer’s Society, where she wrote and edited public-facing information and support guides, and for the National Institute of Health Research’s School for Social Care Research. She also has experience in frontline care services, having worked in a dementia day care centre and a support centre for those with severe and complex mental health conditions.

Lucy graduated from Kings College London with a first-class degree in History (BA Hons). While at university, Lucy was a founding member of Think Mental, the university’s mental health support and awareness society, and volunteered with Tender – a charity educating young people about healthy relationships.

Outside of work, Lucy can most likely be found on the sidelines of a Dulwich Hamlet Women’s FC game or at a karaoke night in a pub somewhere in South East London.
