Jess joined PLMR in 2024 as part of the Health and Social Care team.

Prior to this, Jess worked for Health Services Research UK, a charity working to convene researchers across the country specialising in improvements to health and care services, and advocate for increased use of research in both policymaking and system reform. She was responsible for all the charity’s communications activities, as well as supporting their annual events and grant-funded projects.

Before this, Jess worked at a Leeds-based clinical software supplier, supporting the company’s PR and communications work across the UK, helping to strengthen its footprint in primary, community, social, and mental health care, as well as drive its expansion into acute services.

Jess studied English and History at the University of Leeds and graduated with a first-class honours degree.
