Emma is a Senior Associate Director at PLMR – providing reputation management, public affairs and media relations advice to clients across a range of sectors across the UK. She is also Head of Scotland, specialising in supporting clients to navigate the unique political and media environment.

Emma’s work encompasses FMCG, energy, sustainability, and the charity sector, where she delivers high-level strategic advice while supporting clients to achieve regulatory change, place impactful media coverage in trade, national and regional media, and execute advocacy campaigns for brands that want to make a difference. She also regularly supports clients to navigate political and media crises ranging from regulatory judgements, coroner inquests and investigative journalism.

Emma is regularly recognised by the communications industry for her work across PR, Public Affairs and reputation management. In 2020, she was named on the PR Week 30 under 30 list, which recognises the best young talent working in Public Relations in the UK. She also won the Crisis and Issues Management award at the 2020 PRCA Awards, and was awarded Best Campaign in Scotland at the 2021 Public Affairs Awards. In 2023, she was part of the team recognised at the Digital Communications Awards for her work on a tool to reach every MP in the UK, while in 2024 her work was awarded Best In-House/Consultancy Campaign at the PRCA Public Affairs Awards.

In 2024, Emma was appointed to the PRCA Public Affairs board, which works to represent the public affairs sector while promoting ethical practice.
