Charlie joined PLMR in August 2024 as an intern in PLMR’s Public Relations & Corporate Communications practice, and has recently been promoted to Account Executive. He works with clients across a broad range of sectors including tech, health and the third sector, supporting with media campaigns, policy analysis and reputation management.

Prior to joining PLMR, Charlie graduated from Durham University with a First in Economics with French. His dissertation focused on the economic impacts of an ageing population, with a particular focus on the productivity consequences for French regions. Charlie spent a year studying at Aix-Marseille University and has a profound interest in European affairs and EU politics, and  while in France, Charlie conducted a research project evaluating French government policies such as Macron’s pension reform and the Coronavirus response.

In his spare time, Charlie enjoys being active outdoors, particularly enjoying hiking and cold-water swimming.
