Catrin Preston

Account Manager

Catrin re-joined PLMR in 2022 and works closely with clients across a range of sectors to help them understand and navigate the policy and political context and to deliver successful public affairs and PR programmes. She previously worked in PLMR’s East of England team, providing support to clients in education, the built environment and life sciences.

Catrin recently completed her Master’s degree in Inequalities and Social Science at the London School of Economics. Having focused on social mobility and meritocracy, she is particularly interested in regional inequality and in addressing imbalances between UK cities and regions in economic, education, and cultural terms. Alongside her degree, Catrin worked at the UK in a Changing Europe thinktank, where she coordinated the day-to-day management of the Director’s diary and supported the organisation of events and conferences.

Catrin graduated from King’s College London with an undergraduate degree in European Studies and French. Prior to this, she worked in the constituency office of Toby Perkins MP.
