The Situation

In November 2020, PLMR worked with InterGen to help them announce the receipt of planning permission for their new battery storage project at London Gateway port. Despite the project being the largest in the UK to date, there was no imagery and nothing for people to visit.

What we did

PLMR produced a 3D render of the project to help visualise the opportunity, as well as an explanatory infographic, and secured an exclusive interview for InterGen with The Times. We then helped them achieve wide-ranging coverage across energy and investment media, with the BBC using the story (and PLMR’s imagery) as an example of the wider battery storage revolution.

The Result

The Gateway launch created a major splash, and this work prompted subsequent approaches to InterGen about various other positive opportunities, including speaking slots at major sector events.
