Leading communications agency, PLMR Group Ltd, has cemented its position as one of the UK’s Top 10 public affairs agencies in the 2024 PR Week rankings.
PLMR’s continued success comes as a result of above industry average growth of 9% for 2023, reflecting an exceptional year which has seen the Group win exciting new briefs including WSP, Cornerstone and BUSY Group whilst maintaining its focus on delivering high-quality, innovative and award-winning public affairs work for clients.
Growth has been achieved following strong performances across PLMR Group’s core sector specialisms of education, skills, health, social care, energy and built environment as well as broader work in the infrastructure, transport, tech and food & drink industries – with sector-leading work being delivered throughout the Group’s London, East of England, Midlands and Scotland offices.
Simon Darby, Head of Public Affairs at PLMR, said:
“As PR Week has highlighted, 2023 was not without its challenges for the public affairs industry. As such, I am utterly thrilled we have been able to achieve very strong growth over the last 12 months resulting in PLMR Group maintaining its position in PR Week’s Top 10. This is down to the excellence of our team who deliver public affairs which has real impact for the organisations we work with.
“We are incredibly grateful to be working with such a broad range of amazing organisations, who themselves are making such a valuable contribution to the UK. 2023 – and the early part of 2024 – has been an incredibly exciting time for our public affairs practice as we continue to drive innovation in our work – including from a digital and regional perspective – and has already seen the Group win a series of exciting and important new briefs.”
