PLMR Wins Public Affairs Agency of the Year across Europe, the Middle East and Africa

PLMR is delighted to have won the 2022 Public Affairs Consultancy of the Year category in the global awards run by PRovoke.

This prestigious international award is considered the ultimate benchmark of communications firms’ performance, with hundreds of submissions from the best agencies across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa considered for the prize.

PLMR’s entry showcased our impressive growth driven by strength in core sectors including social care, education, energy and sustainability, health, built environment and technology; service areas from PA and PR to reputation management and digital; as well as two acquisitions in 2021 – East of England agency Genesis PR and Advent Communications in the Midlands. New business successes included Jet2, Teach First, Warwick University and Saab, which joined existing flagship clients such as Royal Veterinary College, Gumtree and the UN Global Crop Diversity Trust.

PLMR’s 2021 communications achievements spanned from hosting our award-winning events space at Conservative Party Conference to creating an online map for the Food Foundation that showed locations providing vulnerable children free meals over October half term.

Our people continue to be the most important factor in PLMR’s success, and we have invested in industry-leading training and development programmes, offering bespoke in-house programmes and courses at Oxford Said Business School as well as running work experience, mentoring and intern opportunities for schools and partners, such as the Taylor Bennett Foundation, to support our diversity, equity and inclusivity goals.

Managing Director, Ollie Lane, said:

“Being recognised on a global platform is testament to the hard work and expertise of every single colleague at PLMR. We have an exceptionally talented team who have taken our firm to the next level, and who take enormous pride in delivering outstanding and important work for our range of wonderful clients every day.”
