PR Week, the leading publication for the PR and communications industry, has listed Ipswich based Genesis in the Top 10 Public Sector agencies nationally.
The Top 10 Public Sector Agencies (published in the May-June issue of PR Week) are listed by revenue in the sector and Genesis is listed at number 9, having worked widely over the past 12 months with local authorities and health sector clients, delivering PR, media and digital marketing campaigns.
Genesis almost doubled its business turnover in 2018 compared to 2017, with a string of new client wins and by extending the agency’s remit with its long-term clients through the addition of digital marketing, video, design and print and other services.
Penny Arbuthnot, Director at Genesis PR, said: “Being recognised as a PR Week Top 10 consultancy for the public sector is a great accomplishment for our team and we are very proud of the work we do with our public sector clients.”
Genesis has also achieved national recognition at the CIPR Excellence Awards, being selected as a finalist in the Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy and for Best Public Affairs Campaign.
This follows a year in which Genesis was named Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy at the 2018 CIPR PRide Awards for the Anglia, Thames and Chiltern Regions, and took the top award for the Best Corporate and Business Communications Campaign.
