The team of digital experts at PLMR has been nominated for the “Best Digital PR and Communications Agency of the Year” Award for this year’s PRCA Digital Awards. PLMR’s team of five digital experts work across web development, social media, digital advertising, search engine optimisation, graphic design and video. PLMR has been shortlisted alongside some of Britain’s best digital agencies.
In addition, PLMR’s Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Alex Hackett, has been shortlisted for the equally prestigious PRCA Digital Professional of the Year Award. Alex – a member of the PLMR team since 2015 – has been integral to the creation and development of a full digital team within the company over the last four years, managing its progression from two to five consultants, achieving a doubling of the team’s monthly revenue.
PLMR’s Team Digital has seen super growth since inception and after an expansion in the services offered by the team now accounts for 10% of PLMR’s revenues, as well as the creation of proprietary software for use in the planning industry. As well as servicing the digital needs of the wider PLMR agency, Team Digital acts as an agency in its own right, delivering tailor-made digital services in a range of sectors, with a focus on digital marketing.
Kevin Craig, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PLMR said today:
“Having started life as a traditional PR and PA agency back in 2006, we have always tried to be ahead of trend in our approach to investing in online and digital development – both with regards to technology and staff. It is a source of immense pride to everyone in the business to get the recognition of the PRCA judging panel for the incredibly hard work and smart thinking of the Digital Team.
“We ask a huge amount of them and they have done nothing but deliver time after time. I so pleased for them all, particularly for Alex Hackett for his nomination, and for the first Member of the Team its Director Mike Ramsden. Alex has also been the driving force behind some of the team’s newest services, including large-scale livestreaming projects, and a piece of software developed specifically for the planning sector to help clients in retrieving comments from local people in a form of digital consultation”
Alex Hackett, PLMR’s Senior Digital Marketing Manager said today:
“I am so pleased with these nominations. I work with a tremendous team and in a business that is truly open to embracing digital now and in the future. My nomination is one that the whole team can share and I am so excited to be developing my career and that of others in a company that is open to constant innovation and investment in the future. At PLMR we see digital considerations integrated into almost every assignment that the company undertakes. It’s brilliant to be shortlisted in this way. I am massively grateful to the entire PLMR business for their support in our growth, and of course to my colleagues, Mike, Lucy Somers, Liz Moore and Rachel Brandon.
The results will be announced on Tuesday 26th of March at the PRCA Digital Awards.
