Advent backs City of Culture bid

Advent Communications has thrown its weight behind Coventry’s bid to become UK City if Culture in 2021.

As well as helping to raise the profile of the bid in the media, Advent has also devised and produced a poster to help businesses and individuals across the region to show their support as part of a social media campaign.

The I’m Backing The Bid’ poster was revealed at a recent event at which Shona McCarthy, who delivered the Derry-Londonderry City of Culture, spoke to a packed audience.

Advent intern Olivia Wynne was live-tweeting from the event. She said: “The show of support for Coventry is already building. It would be great for the city to win.”
