Advent supports national charity launch

Advent sprang into action to support the launch of a major new ambulance charity.

TASC, The Ambulance Services Charity, has been launched to provide nationwide support and advice services to both serving and retired ambulance personnel and their families and dependents in times of difficulty and urgent need.

Advent helped to raise the charity’s profile by securing widespread media coverage across local, regional and trade media titles including Ambulance Today, Civil Society Magazine, Charity Times and Emergency Services Times.

We also joined more than 40 guests including leading figures from the ambulance services community at the TASC launch event held at its head office in Coventry.

The charity’s Chief Executive Lorna Birse-Stewart was also interviewed by BBC Midlands Today and BBC Coventry and Warwickshire and encouraged viewers and listeners to get behind the charity and pledge their support for the ambulance services community.
