Rebecca joined PLMR in 2022 and provides support for a range of clients across the education sector.
Prior to working for PLMR Rebecca worked for Dame Diana Johnson, MP for Hull North and Chair of the Home Affairs Select Committee. Whilst working in Parliament she worked in several policy areas, including work on the Police, Crime Sentencing and Courts Bill and the Nationality and Borders Bill. Additionally, she assisted in work with the All Party Parliamentary Group for Haemophilia and Contaminated Blood, which Dame Diana chaired. Before this she worked for Lyn Brown MP on several research-based projects, including writing a report on women in the criminal justice system.
Rebecca graduated with a BA in Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester in 2019, and went on to complete a Masters degree in Public Policy. Outside of work Rebecca is interested in education policy and spent a year as a School Governor at the Oak Lodge School, a special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) school in Wandsworth.
