Monica previously worked in the corporate banking industry in Canary Wharf for 5 years, managed complex workflows and negotiated deadlines for client-facing pitch materials and ongoing projects before having a parental career break.

She then entered the financial division of a large Logistical Company specialising in B2B logistics for 15 years preparing the companies accounts and reporting directly with the Managing Director, before joining PLMR in 2023 as Assistant Financial Accountant.

Since joining, Monica has progressed to Senior Finance Executive, where she plays a key role in the smooth running of the finance function and improving operational efficiency.

Monica is bilingual, speaking fluent Spanish, which has become advantageous throughout her career.

In her spare time, she enjoys Yoga, Pilates, and country walks with her beloved chocolate labrador. She has also completed many walks for “Cancer Research UK” and “Alzheimer’s Research UK.
