Lawrie is an Account Manager at PLMR providing strategic public affairs, public relations and campaign advice to clients across a range of sectors. Lawrie joined PLMR in September 2022 having most recently worked on Rishi Sunak’s leadership campaign in the Conservative Leadership Election.

Before this, Lawrie was based at a full-service agency that specialised in public affairs, corporate communications, reputation management and campaigns. Lawrie worked across a variety of clients supporting the implementation of comprehensive government relations and communication strategies, helping clients to promote campaigns, identify and connect with key stakeholders and generate media coverage.

Lawrie has further industry experience having worked for another public affairs agency and in the offices of a former Education Minister and member of the House of Commons Public Accounts Select Committee.

Alongside his role at PLMR, Lawrie serves as an Officer in the British Army, having commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in July 2022. He also has a BSc Hons in Politics and International Relations from the University of Bath.
