Erin Hayden joined the PLMR Education Practice as a Senior Account Manager in 2024, working to deliver public affairs, public relations, and communications strategies for clients.

Prior to joining PLMR, Erin was the Policy and Public Affairs Manager at the National Literacy Trust, where she facilitated the policy and public affairs strategy for the charity, advocating for policy developments to improve UK literacy outcomes. Her experience also includes a tenure with Amplify Education, a U.S.-based curriculum company for K-12 students, as well as with a top-10 U.S. government relations and public affairs firm.

With this experience, Erin has developed comprehensive and compelling government relations and communications strategies. She has also advised on reputation management, provided analysis on key policy changes, and advocated for legislative changes to support clients’ policy positions.

Erin holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Vermont and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from American University in Washington, DC.
