Originally from Hull, Alfie moved down to London in 2017 where he started his career within insurance and recruitment before discovering his passion for HR and People. Previously working as a Talent Development and Performance Management Officer, Alfie worked his way up through the ranks before being offered a role as a HR Manager for Van Ameyde McAuslands, an international marine surveying consultancy.

Alfie was responsible for building and developing a HR department from scratch and leading on all HR processes. Having joined PLMR in April 2023 as a HR Advisor, Alfie is leading on all things HR to provide support to all stakeholders, using his experience and knowledge to advise the business on policy, wellbeing and strategy.

Outside of work, Alfie loves spending time walking with his partner and his new puppy and is a massive Arsenal fan, Formula 1 fan and lover of puzzles and game shows! He is currently learning Spanish so he is able to communicate with a whole host of new people.
