The Situation

Zeelandia is a global player in the bakery ingredients business, that is dedicated to the development and innovation of products that are tailored to the needs of commercial bakeries and food manufacturers.

To secure Zeelandia’s position as a leading name in the bakery ingredients industry, by supporting customer acquisition, retention, and growth. Furthermore, the need to build upon the brand’s reputation is a high priority, whilst also building awareness of their expert product ranges.

What we did

A combination of ongoing PR and digital marketing activity, as well as regular campaigns has helped to ensure key products are highlighted at relevant times of the year. We implemented an integrated approach to all activity to ensure consistency and cohesion throughout.  Key activities included media relations, social media management, digital advertising, email marketing, website development, videography, photography, graphic design and more. 

All activity was carried out on a regularly month on month basis, alongside seasonal campaigns taking place at key times of the year including Easter, Summer, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day. 

The Result

Over the time we have worked together, Zeelandia has seen continued growth in all elements as a result of our digital marketing and PR work. Extensive editorial and advertorial coverage was gained in all key trade titles such as Bakery Business, British Baker, Craft Bakers Association as well and key regional publications.  

In 2022, PLMR Genesis completed a Christmas-specific campaign running from November 2 to December 18, the key digital advertising statistics for this campaign include:
