The Situation

Young K&C is a dynamic cross-sector partnership, creating a community of member and partner organisations working together to support children and young people in Kensington & Chelsea. The charity approached PLMR in the month leading up to their 2025 Achievement Awards, looking for support to design and launch their first five-year impact report.

What we did

PLMR’s creative team worked with Young K&C’s Deputy CEO to agree on an impactful format and style for the report. Inspired by the logo, we developed an overall scrapbook look and feel featuring a marker pen font balanced with corporate icons. The style was supported by authentic imagery from events, partners and grant recipients, distributed throughout the report with icons representing stickers and paper clips.

With a challenging timeline of just a couple of weeks, we designed and created:

  • A digital PDF report and print version for award ceremony attendees and key stakeholders
  • An digital and print PDF executive summary version for partners, covering the key points
  • An interactive microsite for ongoing engagement with potential donors and the public

The Result

The new report launched at Young K&C’s Achievement Awards in July 2025, with positive feedback rolling in from the community and the client!

“I just wanted to say the biggest thank you for all your hard work. Having the report, exec summary and microsite means we’re able to push our impact as a small local charity to wider audiences. We’ve never had something like this before and to have it so beautifully designed has put a massive smile on all of our faces!  Thank you so much for your work, creativity and patience getting this done.”
– Niamh Graham, Deputy CEO Young K&C
