The Situation

The Suffolk GP Federation, created in 2013, is a not-for-profit organisation owned by 58 GP practices covering 540,000 patients in Suffolk. Its aim is to find innovative solutions to the challenges currently faced by the NHS, while protecting the interests of general practice and ensuring patients receive the very best care.

PLMR Genesis was tasked with managing the Federation’s reputation as it grew, from supporting its members with the day-to-day running of practices to direct delivery of services such as diabetes care and Suffolk GP+ and the takeover of three GP practices.

What we did

We nurtured Suffolk GP Federation’s reputation, from inception to national award winner, with full marketing communications support. Regular local and national PR established them as a leader in innovative new models of care and we used social media and communications for patients and stakeholders to support effective relationship development.

The Result

The Federation is continuously in the news for its innovative work in supporting patient services and Healthcare Professionals and its positive brand reputation has led to new, major contract wins.
