CASE STUDY
PLMR hosted several working groups to understand the key elements of the strategy. We then created a bespoke messaging document that defined how the organisational strategy should be communicated.
We next built a bespoke interactive website (https://strategy.skillsforcare.org.uk/), utilising video and animation, and our recommended messaging, to engage and inspire the practitioners and organisations Skills for Care supports. We also scripted and filmed an interview with the CEO.
Finally, we developed the communications plan, outlining in detail how the strategy should be launched amongst each of their key audience groups, including in direct messages, through PR, and on social media.
The interactive website made the strategy more accessible and engaging – clearly telling the story of Skills for Care’s future plans, and how they will positively impact the sector.
Meanwhile, our multi-channel communications plan helped Skills for Care to reach all their intended audience groups with their plans and share their vision among a wider audience. The dedicated messaging support from PLMR meant the strategy was talked about in a positive and consistent way – helping to keep Skills for Care’s vision and values at the heart of all communications.
The launch of the strategy was a huge success, with stakeholder feedback unanimously positive, and coverage across all key sector titles.
PLMR’s crisis communications experience is second to none, and includes pre-emptive and reactive work across traditional and social media channels. We work with a range of organisations to offer critical communication support when they are faced with difficult and challenging scenarios.
