The Situation

Sarah’s Carers is a Suffolk-based home care provider founded by Sarah Seaman, an experienced nurse, care-practitioner, and trainer.

Sarah’s Carers approached PLMR Genesis to encourage applications to its domiciliary care vacancies amongst people in West Suffolk.

What we did

To achieve the objectives set out in the brief, PLMR Genesis utilised a cohesive strategy of digital advertising, organic social media, and PR to maximise the visibility of its core messaging amongst audiences. Messaging was based on the benefits of working for a private care provider, with Sarah’s Carers’ care of its staff a central theme within all media. PLMR Genesis opted to utilise a combination of platforms including Facebook and LinkedIn advertising to target users that either met the description of target audiences in the brief or held comparable positions amongst other private and public care providers.

The Result

The campaign was successful in generating interest in the care vacancies, with a budget of £500 resulting in 23 applications. From these applications, 11 full and part-time positions were filled, resulting in an average spend of £45.50 per successful candidate.
