The Situation

Right at Home wanted to capitalise on every opportunity to communicate, be that internally with staff and clients, or externally with media and stakeholder.

What we did

PLMR recommended Right at Home’s senior team undertake media training to strengthen their understanding of the importance of effective engagement with the media, to improve communication of Right at Home’s messaging and to build confidence for future media opportunities. Right at Home wanted to capitalise on every opportunity to communicate, be that internally with staff and clients, or externally with media and stakeholders. PLMR trained the CEO and the Head of Quality and Compliance to enable them to make the most out of all internal and external speaking opportunities and future public affairs campaigns.

The Result

As a result, the trainees gained skills to enable them to expertly participate in opportunities with journalists and other external stakeholders as well as at trade shows and industry events. This included achieving standout positive coverage in The Economist on the challenges facing the social care sector and the positive and impactful work of Right at Home, as well as other key trade publications. Following this training, PLMR have been able to position Right at Home and Lucy Campbell as thought leaders within the industry and experts on issues such as the challenges effecting the adult social care sector.
