Fisher German is a multi-disciplinary property consultancy with experts in residential and commercial agency, planning, development, utilities, agribusiness, sustainable development and much more.

PLMR Advent won a competitive pitch to work on the agency side of the business more than a decade ago.

The agency’s success in raising the national profile of the company – with pieces in the Times, Sunday Times and Guardian – saw it take on the PR brief for all divisions within Fisher German three years later.

What we did

PLMR Advent regularly liaised with Fisher German’s communications team and key division contacts for potential new stories and provided advice on how to frame successes most effectively for coverage, depending on the intended audience.

For example, a piece around a new cottage coming onto the market might be aimed at titles like the Sunday Times or Country Life, whereas a story around Fisher German winning a new contract with a major water company would be angled to business and more niche titles such as Water Magazine.

We devised comprehensive PR strategies to publicise Fisher German’s mergers with Vine Property Management in 2019, and Matthews & Goodman in 2022, ensuring widespread coverage for these enormous successes for the firm.

We also provided crucial PR support in occasional times of crisis, ensuring any external messaging was appropriate and considered.

Finally, PLMR Advent has also given presentations on PR and comms at several company conferences.
