The Situation

Astonbrook Care operates a number of care homes across the north east with various different specialisms, including dementia and nursing care, as well as respite and palliative support.

The company wanted to refresh its website and improve its SEO to improve the number of people applying for occupancy and careers within the care sector.

What we did

PLMR created a fresh new look for the website, with added
functionality, including embedded Carehome.co.uk and CQC ratings, interactive maps, and the ability to filter homes by location, massively improving the user experience of the website.

The copy for all pages was also rewritten so that each home would
rank correctly for local care home searches in Google, as well as
improving the popularity of the site as a whole.

PLMR additionally trained members of the Astonbrook team to use the website so that they could have full control of the content and any changes that they would need to make along the way.
