The Situation

AC Lloyd Commercial announced a Joint Venture with Henry Davidson Developments (HDD) to create a new £30 million multi-purpose development in Nottingham which was its first foray into the East Midlands.

PLMR Advent is the retained agency for the Warwickshire-based property company and covers a wide range of stories for the business which prides itself on being an integral part of the community.

What we did

PLMR Advent produced the major announcement regarding the start of work at Teal Park in Netherfield which has been delivered in phases over the last three years and has created over 350 jobs to boost the local economy.

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, the timetable for delivering the combination of a 53,000 sq ft trade park for 14 units and 141,000 sq ft of employment units remained on track.

This enabled PLMR Advent to provide a regular flow of stories to the local and regional media from announcing a new Aldi supermarket to a state-of-the-art care home and the unveiling of retail units to the sale of the trade and employment phases of the site to Northwood Urban Logistics.

This also led to PLMR Advent interviewing the operators of some of the units to emphasise the community aspect of Teal Park.

The Result

Teal Park in Nottingham is now fully let which has increased AC Lloyd Commercial’s reputation in Nottingham and the wider East Midlands after transforming a former derelict site into a thriving employment, industrial and retail centre.
