PLMR Genesis scoops five top gongs at industry awards event

The team at PLMR Genesis is celebrating winning five Gold Awards at the CIPR PRide Awards on 28 September.

The CIPR’s annual awards for the Anglia, Thames and Chiltern regions, held at the Clayton Hotel in Cambridge, celebrate outstanding campaigns, creativity and impact delivered by PR professionals across all sectors across the East of England and Greater London.

The PLMR Genesis team entered and was short-listed for six categories and walked away with five Gold Awards for:

  • Low Budget Campaign
  • Best Channel Delivery
  • Best Long-term Campaign
  • Best Long-term Client Care
  • Best Event – for the Social Worker of the Year Awards (beating London Borough of Westminster’s London Bridge Team for Operation London Bridge – the Queen’s funeral!)

Ali Straker, Director of PR and Content, PLMR Genesis, said: “Winning these awards in recognition of the high-quality work our PR and digital teams deliver is a real achievement. I’m incredibly proud of the whole team.

“The CIPR PRide Awards showcase the high calibre talent, creativity and excellent results of PR professionals across the region – congratulations to all the nominees and winners who are delivering such excellent work.

“We’re so passionate about delivering outstanding work and thrilled with the category wins recognising our long-term client relationships, where we keep delivering brilliant work day-in, day-out. I’m also so proud we can make budgets of all sizes work for our clients – as recognised by the Low Budget Campaign win – and thrilled to have scooped the Best Event in the face of such stiff competition from the London Borough of Westminster.”
