Health and Social Care specialist agency PLMR Healthcomms has added to their growing pharmaceutical offering by bringing in Associate Director Tom Doughty, who returns to the firm, having left two years ago. Joining the team from another agency, Doughty brings a wealth of experience to the team, particularly within the pharmaceutical space.
With clients including pharmaceutical giant Moderna; Association of British HealthTech Industries, the Trade Body for medtech and healthtech in the UK; and big corporates like Medtronic and Becton Dickinson, PLMR Healthcomms specialises in support in public affairs, strategic engagement and market access.
Now part of the PLMR Group, PLMR Healthcomms (formerly Healthcomms Consulting) is a rapidly growing firm. PLMR now sits within the Top 50 of UK agencies in the PR Week Top 50 rankings, with their health and care team sitting 22nd in the Healthcare rankings.
This new hire adds to recent additions to their Strategic Council, with Noel Gordon, former Chair of NHS Digital joining the team to support on its Digital Health offer, as well as its wider client base.
The recent Digital Health and pharmaceutical growth adds further expertise to the firm, which has extensive market access, medical technology and health technology credentials, and a growing life sciences and Social Care offering.
