PLMR Group caps exceptional year with three shortlistings at the PRCA Public Affairs Awards

PLMR is delighted to have been shortlisted across three categories at this year’s PRCA Public Affairs Awards.

PLMR is a finalist in the prestigious Consultancy of the Year category, recognising the outstanding work that has achieved results for clients across the business,. The shortlisting comes following a year of significant growth for PLMR’s public affairs practice. It has also been a year in which the agency has delivered a range of impactful and targeted campaigns that have secured significant positive outcomes and wins for clients across the skills & employment, health and sustainability sectors.

PLMR is also delighted that Simon Darby, its Head of Public Affairs, has been shortlisted as Consultant of the Year, in recognition of his leadership of the practice and the successful execution of a range of innovative public affairs programmes for clients.

Rounding off the series of shortlistings, PLMR is also a finalist in the Consultancy Campaign of the Year, for its highly successful ‘Renting with Pets’ campaign with NOAH – the National Office of Animal Health. The integrated campaign with NOAH sought to make it easier to those living in rental accommodation to do so with companion animals, which was recognised in the government’s recent Renter’s Reform White Paper.

The recognition at the PRCA Public Affairs Awards caps an exceptional year for PLMR’s public affairs practice, which has gone from strength-to-strength and has been bolstered by the acquisitions of Genesis in the East of England, Advent Communications in the Midlands, and healthcare specialists HealthComms.

Simon Darby, PLMR’s Head of Public Affairs said: “I am genuinely humbled to have been shortlisted as Consultant of the Year at the PRCA Public Affairs Awards. It is a true team effort, which is reflected in PLMR’s wider nominations. It is enormously pleasing to see our work for our brilliant clients recognised at these prestigious awards”.

Ollie Lane, PLMR’s Managing Director said: “We’ve already had a brilliant year, with our outstanding team delivering superb work on a daily basis for the clients we are so lucky to work for. These shortlistings are extremely well-deserved and testimony to the 12 months we’ve had.”
