PLMR Group – a strengthened, modern visual identity

PLMR Group is very excited to launch our rebrand, which is key in presenting a new strengthened offering to the market and aligning with our value proposition. After the acquisitions of Mango Marketing, Snapdragon Consulting, Advent Communications, Genesis PR and most recently Healthcomms Consulting, PLMR needed to convey the strength and variety of its expertise. We needed a new look and feel for a modern market.

A lettermark logo has always been a part of PLMR’s identity. If we look back over the years we find an array of visual elements that have helped reflect the evolution of the business.

But the landscape is constantly changing, and businesses must keep a finger on the pulse both in practice and visual language.

In every part of the business, be it Public Affairs, Media Training or Digital Marketing, communications is a consistent element of PLMR’s offering. This is reflected in the negative space of our bespoke lettering, with a hint at the tail of a speech bubble. This is carried out across a handful of letters in our adjusted alphabet.

Notably, the negative shape of the enclosed letters in our logo is reminiscent of a capital “P”, a graphic device we will use to aid recall of the PLMR lettermark.

Our strapline, communications + impact, represents the power we bring to our communications work, always pairing it with impact. This is visually reflected in the boldness of our lettermark and richness of the gradient.
