Daisy off to flying start in new digital role at PLMR Genesis

New digital recruit Daisy Butler is enjoying a flying start at East of England communications agency PLMR Genesis with her web development skills strengthening our services and already creating significant impact.

PLMR Genesis continues to experience strong demand from businesses to invest in digital marketing services and have responded by more than doubling and expanding our team of digital specialists over the last year.

Daisy joined PLMR Genesis as a Digital Account Executive three months ago after graduating from Durham University with a BA (Hons) in Classics.

She has achieved a diploma in Software Development – based on common web languages: CSS, Javascript and Python – and in a previous role gained skills in web development and maintenance, digital design, online optimisation, and social media.

Jack Alderton, Senior Digital Account Manager, said: “Daisy’s technical and development expertise further strengthens our offering in terms of new and existing website projects – an area we’re keen to continue building upon at PLMR Genesis.

“She has already been instrumental in the delivery of great work, such as an email newsletter template for an education client, home page designs for a manufacturer, and landing page development for a conservation charity.

“We’re all delighted to have Daisy with us to reinforce the capabilities of our brilliant digital team!”

Daisy said: “I am thrilled to be a part of PLMR Genesis and very much look forward to continuing progressing my skills and knowledge to deliver digital services for our clients.

“The web development process excites me in particular and I’m very keen to contribute to the digital optimisation of clients’ websites. I’m also very happy to have achieved some great results already – only made possible by the fantastic support shown by the whole team.”

PLMR Genesis provides results-focused communications solutions for clients in today’s digital world, including building and managing brand reputation and driving business or organisational goals through an integrated, multi-channel approach to PR and marketing.

Alex Raymond, Head of Digital, added: “We’re extremely happy to have Daisy join our growing team to support our digital marketing services, including high-quality website design and development and search engine optimisation. She’s made a fantastic impact so far!”
