The first steps have been taken to create a multi-million pound convention centre at the newly-named Coventry Building Society Arena.

The work, which is funded by the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (CWLEP), will see the lower halls at the Arena transformed to provide a modern and market leading facility. It is the first construction stage in the creation of the Commonwealth Convention Centre.

Advent worked with the venue and its partners to achieve profile locally, regionally and with key trade publications Exhibition News and Conference News.

It comes as the Arena takes on its new name – Coventry Building Society Arena – from today (July 1).
