Genesis Celebrates ‘Awesome Foursome’ PR Milestone with Lockdown Pledge

Account Manager - PLMR Genesis

We have pledged to continue investing in our staff and skills during the coronavirus crisis after four members of the team were awarded CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) Accredited PR Practitioner status.

Account Manager Nicole Hogger, Digital Account Manager Jack Alderton, Senior Account Executive Matt Stott, and Account Executive Rose Ling celebrated the industry recognition in lockdown style with a special Zoom meeting to applaud their well-deserved achievements.

Accredited PR Practitioner status is a hallmark of commitment to professional excellence, the CIPR says. It shows PR and digital practitioners are committed to keeping professional skills and knowledge up-to-date whilst continually developing and broadening horizons.

The CIPR’s continuous professional development programme includes topics on ethics, strategy and leadership as well as the latest communications techniques, achieved through webinars, events and portfolio work over a two-year period.

Director of Genesis, Penny Arbuthnot, said: “We congratulate our awesome foursome of Nicole, Jack, Matt and Rose for committing to their professionalism and achieving CIPR Accredited PR Practitioner status. This is a great boost in challenging yet stimulating times.

“In an industry renowned for never standing still, PR and digital marketing are evolving and overlapping perhaps more than ever before. We’re also seeing growing demand in the East of England and nationally, despite the crisis as businesses and other organisations seek quick, effective and innovative ways to maintain market share, create positive impact and achieve their goals.

“That’s why we’ve developed a culture in which everyone has a proactive approach to developing key industry knowledge and skills to help us stay one step ahead of the game. We’ll ensure we don’t become complacent during the pandemic and beyond.”

The news means 12 of our 18-strong team have now achieved CIPR Accredited PR Practitioner status or higher.

Using our registered i-thinking’ concept, Genesis provides intelligent solutions with a multi-channel approach to communications in today’s digital world; something which has become even more relevant during the recent Covid-19 crisis.
