PLMR Hits Record High in PR Week’s 2020 Rankings of the UK’s Top Consultancies

PLMR has reached its highest ever ranking in PR Week’s list of the country’s top PR agencies after achieving above-average growth for the sector over the last year.

The news underlines PLMR’s continuing reputation as one of the fastest growing agencies in the country.

After entering the Top 150 list for the first time in 2011, PLMR – a fully integrated communications agency with offices in London, Birmingham, the East of England and Scotland – now ranks 64th in the UK, up five places from last year. PLMR’s 2019 calendar year revenue was £5.2 million.

The record position and ongoing growth was driven by high-quality, creative and impactful public affairs, PR, crisis communications and digital work across a range of sectors including social care, energy, education, health, planning, transport and technology.

Speaking about today’s news, PLMR Director Ollie Lane said:

“PLMR’s record-breaking year is down to a fantastic team of hard-working and talented consultants who provide the very best consultancy to clients and know their sectors inside out – it’s been a brilliant year. Our model of diversification across sectors but specialism in those sectors, and of clients served by strong regional offices, is proving to be the right one.

“The last year has again seen us take home national awards for our work and win flagship accounts including Henry Dimbleby’s National Food Strategy and the Royal Marsden Hospital, and we have also made strong inroads into the higher education sector, where clients include the universities of Bristol and Sheffield, and LSE.

“We are so very proud of everyone’s efforts. We’re delighted that PLMR has reached this record high.”
