TWO NOMINATIONS FOR PLMR’S DIGITAL TEAM AT THE PRCA DIGITAL AWARDS 2020

PLMR’s digital team has continued its 2019 awards success with two nominations at the prestigious PRCA Digital Awards 2020. The PRCA Digital Awards recognise the very best in digital PR and communications from businesses and agencies across the UK.

PLMR’s Lucy Somers has been nominated for “PRCA Digital Professional of the Year”. Lucy joined PLMR as an apprentice for the digital team in 2016 and quickly rose through the ranks to become a Senior Digital Executive. On a daily basis, she helps to run the social media and digital advertising for some of PLMR’s biggest clients, as well as providing invaluable support to businesses across various sectors with their website development and digital marketing needs.

In addition, PLMR’s Senior Digital Manager, Elizabeth Moore, has been shortlisted in the “Best Use of Video in a Campaign” category. This is a result of the short film she produced for the City of London School for Girls for its 125th anniversary, highlighting the benefits of the school’s bursary fund in helping young girls to achieve their potential. The four-minute film, featuring interviews with students past, alumni, parents and the Head Teacher, was showcased at the school’s fundraising gala in July 2019, presented by Claudia Winkleman at the Guildhall in London. The film helped to raise over £100,000 over the course of just one evening.

PLMR Managing Director, Elin de Zoete said:

“The way that we communicate has changed tremendously and PLMR’s digital team are leading the way in how we can revolutionise the services we offer to our clients. I’m thrilled to see the team nominated for their fantastic work again this year.”

Alex Hackett, PLMR’s Head of Digital, and 2019 PRCA Digital Professional of the Year said:

“I am so delighted that the team has received these fantastic nominations. To be nominated for Best Use of Video speaks to our ever-growing strength in this field, as we now offer motion graphics, animation and 3D visualisation as part of our award-winning practice. Lucy’s nomination for Digital Professional of the Year is particularly special – I couldn’t imagine a better successor to the title. Well done team and fingers crossed!”

The results will be announced on Tuesday 17th of March at the PRCA Digital Awards 2020.
