Tazmin Chape will make history this weekend by being the first female to lead Shakespeare’s Birthday Celebrations.

For over 100 years, the head boy of King Edward VI School – where Shakespeare studied – has led proceedings.

But, for the first time ever, the school’s head girl has been cast in the lead role at the ceremony in Stratford-upon-Avon, which will be watched by tens of thousands of people.

Advent Communications achieved widespread coverage of the historic change including in the Sunday Telegraph.
