PLMR’S HEAD OF HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE WINS PRCA YOUNG COMMUNICATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD

Nathan Hollow, PLMR’s Head of Health and Social Care, has been crowned ‘Young Communicator of the Year’ at the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) National Awards.

Having joined PLMR as an intern in 2011, Nathan has risen through the ranks to establish himself as one of the country’s leading communications practitioners.

Nathan is a health and social care sector expert, and leads PLMR’s work in the sector, including for HC-One, the UK’s largest care home provider. He also regularly writes in a personal capacity for healthcare trade media, including Healthcare Business and HealthInvestor, and been a judge at the Great British Care Awards.

Notable recent client successes include: successfully reforming NHS recruitment guidelines, revising Care Quality Commission regulation, securing nearly £2 billion of extra government funding for social care services, and successfully supporting clients through a variety of reputationally challenging media investigations.

He also played a significant role in winning PLMR’s first FTSE 100 listed clients, Centrica and RB (formerly Reckitt Benckiser), and as well as winning the ‘Best Issues Management’ Award at the 2017 CorpComms Awards.

The PRCA National Awards celebrate the best of the best of the UK PR and communications industry, championing those that have made significant impact.
