New sports hub sparks media interest

Students, stakeholders, local politicians and the media were given a sneak preview of the new Sport and Wellness Hub at the University of Warwick.

The Sports and Wellness Hub is part of a £49 million investment and will feature an array of cutting-edge facilities.

The facilities will incorporate a new 12-court and four-court sports hall, a new 12-lane, 25-metre swimming pool with a moveable floor, a state-of-the-art gym housing up to 250 pieces of equipment, highly flexible studio spaces, a brand new climbing wall, bouldering wall and speed climbing wall, elite-player standard squash and netball courts and a range of new outdoor sports pitches.
