CU Scarborough, part of the Coventry University Group, is set to welcome 400 students to the new academic year and introduce six new degree courses, just one year after opening its £14 million state-of-the art campus.

The new academic year also marks an important milestone for the Coventry University Group offering, as CU Scarborough and CU Coventry are joined by the new CU London site, based in Dagenham.

The opening of CU London signifies the beginning of a unique capital, city and coast offering for Coventry University. For a limited number of degrees, students are able to stay on exactly the same course and switch between the UK’s capital, the city of Coventry and the coastal resort of Scarborough.

Professor Craig Gaskell, Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor of CU Scarborough, said: “It was just 12 months ago that we opened our state-of-the-art building, and we have been going from strength to strength ever since.”

Advent Communications helped promote the good news, securing regional coverage in the Yorkshire Post as well as an interview on Yorkshire Coast Radio.
