On Tuesday there will be a Scottish Government debate on Scotland’s Place in the European Union with focus on protecting and promoting human rights and fundamental freedoms. The Scottish Government will call upon the UK Government to provide assurances that it will not take any actions which will weaken the UK’s participation in the current human rights apparatus.
On Wednesday there will be a Scottish Government debate on Scotland’s International Development Strategy. Wednesday’s Portfolio Questions will focus on Justice, Culture, Tourism and External Affairs.
First Minister’s Questions will take place on Thursday, and will be followed by a Members’ Business debate on the Marie Curie Report on challenging inequalities in palliative care. There will also be an Education and Skills Committee debate on the performance and role of the SQA, Education Scotland, SFC and SDS.
