Team Advent

Advent joined 2,000 runners from across the region to compete in the annual Wright Hassall Regency Run.

A team of five took part in the 10 kilometre run with times all under one hour 10 minutes.

Richard Simkiss romped home in 33 minutes and 8 seconds to win the annual 10 kilometre race for the first time.

Sarah Rose, of Kenilworth Runners, was fastest woman home in 38 minutes and 7 seconds, ahead of Joanne McCandless (38 mins 16 secs) and Corin Oliver (38 mins 42 secs) in second and third respectively.
