PLMR SHORTLISTED FOR BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AT CHARITY AWARDS

PLMR is thrilled to announce their shortlisting for Business of the Year at the 2015 Business Charity Awards.

As a company that has been committed to promoting and supporting philanthropy since day one, PLMR is delighted and honoured to have its efforts recognised as part of the prestigious Business Charity Awards.

The Business of the Year award is for a business that has excelled in helping the wider community by embedding a culture of supporting charitable causes at all levels of the organisation.  PLMR is the only communications agency recognised in the shortlist.

PLMR’s Deputy Managing Director, Elin Twigge, commented:

“We are really excited to have been shortlisted for this award. To be up against the household names of Tesco, Nationwide and Greggs for the accolade of Business of the Year is truly exciting and highlights the impact PLMR has made over recent years.

PLMR has donated 5% of net profits to charity every year since we were founded in 2006. As we have grown as a company, it has been a privilege to expand the contribution we are able to make.

We have endeavoured to embed a charitable culture at all levels of our organisation. From organising a charity football match at West Hamand supporting amputee children in Sierra Leone, to enabling colleagues to give back as much possible, PLMR is proud of what we have achieved and we are looking forward to continuing this for years to come.”

The winner of Business of the Year will be announced at the awards ceremony on 19th May. A full list of the shortlisted entries can be seen here.
