ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, ELIN TWIGGE, HAS BEEN SHORT-LISTED FOR YOUNG PR PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR

The short-list for the PR Week awards has been released, revealing that PLMR Associate Director Elin Twigge is in the running for Young PR Professional of the year.

One of only six finalists, Elin has already beaten off stiff competition to get to this point. She has been an asset to PLMR since 2008, having led award-winning Media Relations and Public Affairs campaigns and worked across multiple sectors; campaigning for sustainable biomass, supporting large academies, working with NHS trusts advocating surplus food redistribution, representing care providers and much more.

From being short-listed as Public Affairs News’ Rising Star in 2011, to her election as Vice-Chair of the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) Public Affairs group last year, it has always been clear that Elin’s trajectory would be steep.

PLMR Managing Director, Kevin Craig, said:

“Elin has been a stalwart member of PLMR for the last five years and this nomination demonstrates not only how hard she works, but also how valuable it is to have a good staff development programme.

“Five years is a long time in PR. Without allowing her the space to grow someone as capable as Elin would have undoubtedly flown from the nest and PLMR would be all the poorer for it.

“PLMR has grown substantially over this time, in no small part due to Elins’ hard work, intelligence and dedication.

“Congratulations on a nomination well deserved, and the whole company wishes her the best of luck for the ceremony.”

The final result will be announced at the PR Week Awards ceremony in Grosvenor House on 22nd October.
