Tom specialises in delivering integrated communications campaigns for organisations across culture, heritage, hospitality, property and education sectors. He works closely with clients to enhance their reputation and engage key audiences while securing high-impact media coverage across regional, national and trade publications.
Having joined PLMR Midlands as an intern before becoming a full-time member of the team in 2021, Tom has developed extensive experience in media relations, reputation management and crisis communications. He has supported a wide range of high-profile organisations, helping them tell compelling stories, navigate challenges and achieve their strategic objectives.
Tom’s experience includes a secondment with the Coventry City of Culture Trust, where he supported communications activity for the city’s year-long cultural programme. He continues to work with leading cultural and heritage organisations, as well as businesses and educational institutions, across the Midlands and beyond.
A qualified journalist with a Gold Standard NCTJ Diploma in Digital Journalism, Tom brings a strong news sense and an in-depth understanding of what makes a story resonate with audiences and the media.
Tom graduated from Coventry University in 2020, receiving the Course Tutor Prize for highest attainment in English and Journalism. He completed an MA in World Literature at the University of Warwick in 2021.
