Kirsty Walmsley

Advisor

Kirsty Walmsley has more than 20 years’ senior political and campaign experience.

Formerly Head of Candidates and Campaign Director for Wales at Reform UK, she brings first-hand insight into the rapidly evolving UK political landscape and the factors shaping voter sentiment, policy, and public debate.

Kirsty entered politics in 2003 as the UK’s youngest councillor. She went on to work as a senior parliamentary caseworker for two MPs and a government minister.

Having joined Reform UK in 2021, Kirsty progressed rapidly into the senior leadership team under Richard Tice. As Head of Candidates, she built a strong UK-wide network across the party and played a central role in identifying, mentoring, and training candidates — many of whom have since advanced into prominent positions as councillors and community leaders. She also chaired the Education Policy Development Group and delivered keynote speeches at two national conferences.

In 2024, Kirsty was appointed Campaign Director for Wales, where she established a new branch structure and helped position Reform UK ahead of the 2026 Senedd election. She has also served as election agent for high-profile figures, including Dr David Bull (Chairman) and Alex Wilson (leader of the Reform Group on the London Assembly).

Since moving into public affairs in 2025, Kirsty remains a trusted voice in policy, strategy and conservative advocacy.
